Nitish attacks PM on corruption issue

Patna, January 31: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today accused Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of keeping “silence” over bringing back the black money stashed away in Swiss and other banks abroad.

“Black money worth billions are stashed away in Swiss and other banks abroad… but the PM is maintaining silence over bringing the money back,” Kumar told NDA workers here.

He said the Prime Minister should ensure return of the black money as it would facilitate funding of a plethora of schemes for the poor.

Kumar said his government was firm in its resolve to weed out corruption and his cabinet colleagues have already declared details of their assets.

“Our fight against corruption will continue… and for this we have evolved several measures”, he said.
