Tokyo, April 08: Japan’s Nissan Motor Co will start selling its electric vehicle, Leaf, in China early next year, a senior executive said on Thursday.
“Nissan will target the vehicle at institutional bodies like local government initially,” Tsunehiko Nakagawa, vice president of Nissan China Investment, told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference.
Nissan has no timetable for the local production of Leaf.
