Karnataka: Five youths gang raped a 17-year-old girl, student of MBBS. Her friend was also beaten up when he tried to intervene.
According to the news published in The Hindu, girl, resident of Dharwad district was allegedly gang raped on an open hill on the outskirts of Kakti Village on 15th February.
However, the incident came to light when girl registered complaint with the police on Tuesday.
According to the police, girl was with her friend near one of the windmills on the hill. Police are on the lookout for five youths.
Meanwhile, Girl has been sent for medical examination.
