The ninth batch of Haj Pilgrims from Telangana consisting of 350 pilgrims all belonging to Hyderabad, left for Jeddah through a chartered flight from the Haj Terminal of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamsabad on Sunday.
With this, so far 3050 pilgrims have left for Haj. According to the State Haj Committee, all the pilgrims are safe and busy in prayers in Makkah. On 22nd September, two batches will leave for Jeddah. The first flight of the day would take off at 12:25 PM carrying pilgrims from Telangana districts, while the second i.e. 11th batch consisting 350 pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh will take off at 7:25 PM from the Haj Terminal of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
