Nine helicopters to guard Haram Shareef in Makkah

Makkah: During the month of Ramadan, the number of pilgrims who come for performing Umrah increases. In order to protect the pilgrims and especially the old aged persons, Saudi Govt. engaged nine helicopters for ensuring foolproof security.

These helicopters will provide facility round the clock. According to the news published in Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Director General of Space Security, Major General Mohammed Eidul Harabi told that nine helicopters are monitoring Haram Shareef in Makkah. He further said that the purpose of deploying helicopters and ambulances is to provide every possible security in emergency situations on humanitarian grounds. These helicopters are equipped with latest gadgets. They would monitor important places where more crowds are found.
