Congress MLC MS Prabhakar on Tuesday alleged that the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) was in very bad shape as many equipment are not in working condition.
Prabhkar said he got admitted in the NIMS on Monday evening to undergo angiography today. However, the angiography test was postponed as the machine was not working. He said enquiries further revealed that the ventilator and other important machines too were not functional in the hospital. The hygiene and sanitation too have been completely ignored.
Prabhakar said that despite making tall claims, the TRS Government has failed to ensure proper maintenance of Telangana’s super-specialty hospital. He said by looking at the deteriorating conditions in NIMS, one can guess about the conditions in other government hospitals across the State. (INN)
