New Delhi, January 11: A Nigerian national was arrested from north Delhi allegedly with 52 grams of heroin with a street value of Rs 30 lakh, police said today.
Nwadike Ugoven was apprehended from Gandhi Vihar locality in north Delhi’s Maurice Nagar area last night by a team of Crime Branch sleuths, a senior police official said.
Fifty-two grams of heroin were recovered from him.
Ugoven came to Delhi five years ago on a one-year visa and has been staying here though his visa lapsed.
He used to be allegedly involved in drug peddling and smuggling. Investigations are on in the case to nab his other associates, the official said
