Nigerian held in Bengaluru for selling cocaine

BENGALURU: A Nigerian citizen have been arrested by the CCB police for allegedly indulging in selling cocaine.

The 37-year-old accused, Kalu Okeh Ude who hails from Ohafia in Nigeria, is a resident of K. Channasandra. He was held while selling cocaine near St. Francis Xavier Girls’s High School in Pulikeshinagar.

9 gm of cocaine, four mobile phones and a two-wheeler were seized from him. During the Investigation revealed that he had purchased cocaine paying `5,000 per gram from a man in Mumbai.

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act in Pulikeshinagar police station. The police said.“He had come to India on a business visa that was valid only for two months in 2012. Though, the visa had expired, he was overstaying here.”
