Washington: “I’m so grateful for my family,” said American actor Nicole Kidman.
During an interview with People Magazine, Kidman opened up about her relationship with husband Keith Urban and their children. The duo is devoted to their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, and to their quiet life in Nashville far from the Hollywood spotlight.
“My roots are deeply embedded in Nashville,” said the ‘Destroyer’ star.
Talking about her husband, Kidman also said that she is deeply grateful for her close bond with Urban and finds comfort in knowing they can navigate life’s trials as a team.
When Urban, who is sober and has spoken publicly about his past addiction issues, entered rehab shortly after their 2006 wedding, Kidman stood by him. Likewise, Urban was also there for Kidman during her darkest times.
“Real love happens when human beings come together if they’re going to, in a far deeper way. You’re then having to work together, and the ‘together’ is what it’s about. Keith and I talk about that because that ultimately is the definition of marriage and union and commitment,” Kidman added.
After a two year of the relationship, the stars got married in Australia and have since settled in Nashville.
Prior to Keith Urban, the ‘Big Little Lies’ star was married to Tom Cruise and was in relationships with Tom Burlinson and Marcus Graham.
