New Delhi [India]: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday filed a supplementary charge-sheet in Special NIA Court against Amzad Khan alias Ayan Khan, who is accused of having links with Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).
During the investigation, it was found that 37-years old Khan is one of the principal characters in the conspiracy hatched by the absconding accused, Yusuf-al-Hindi alias Shafi Armar who has already been charge sheeted and other members of the newly-formed organisation ‘Junood-ul-Khilafa-Fil-Hind’ (JKH).
The group had allegedly pledged their allegiance to the proscribed terrorist group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) for carrying out subversive activities in India.
The NIA had arrested Khan soon after his deportation from Saudi Arabia last year, in connection with its probe into activities of the terror group and its affiliates in India. (ANI)
