Next revolution in the country would be in the field of Education

Minister of Information Technology, Mr. P.Lakshmaiah, told that the next revolution in the country would be in the field of education. He declared that the deficiencies in the field of education are responsible for all the evils in the society. He said that illiteracy and poverty are due to lack of education.

He was addressing a gathering of two day American Education’ summit 2013 organized by Indian Foundation in collaboration with FAPCCI.

Mr. Lakshmaiah told that education and training are the two resources of Human Development. He informed that during the next 12 to 15 years, the strength of the students in secondary schools would be doubled.

He told that Arts, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Medical Science and Environmental Sciences are important for society.

He said that Hyderabad is the best place for providing infrastructure. He told that three sectors in Hyderabad are very important. They are: Education, Information Technology and Health.

Justice Subhashan Reddy, Lok Ayukta stressed the need to maintain educational standards. Mr. Rajeshwar, General Secretary of FAPCCI also addressed the gathering on this occasion.

Mr. C.D. Araha, Chairman of Indus was also present on this occasion. He welcomed the audience Managing Trustee of the Foundation Mr. S.B. Anumolu was also present on this occasion.
