New Delhi: The next session of the Parliament will begin from April 25 and is likely to continue till May 13 following the prorogation of the budget session last month.
“Subject to exigencies of government business, the session is likely to conclude on May 13,” a Lok Sabha release said.
This session will be an entirely new one following prorogation of the budget session of Parliament.
Government would be hoping to receive the support of opposition parties during this session so that key legislations, including the Goods and Services Tax Bill, can be passed.
The House is expected to transact the remaining agenda of Budget Session, which started on February 23 and concluded on March 16. (ANI)
