Senior news reader, K Veerabhadra Rao, popularly known as Bhadri was killed and his wife, two sons and another family members were injured when the car they were travelling in lost control and hit a roadside tree.
The accident occurred near Lakshmi Nagar of Dwaraka Tirumala mandal in West Godavari district on Sunday. According to police, a car tyre burst is suspected to have caused the accident. The family was proceeding to a temple when the accident occurred. The injured were first taken to a hospital at Eluru and then shifted to Vijayawada.
Bhadri, 38, was a popular face on Telugu news channel TV9.
