Newly elected T MLAs to take oath tomorrow

Out of seven candidates elected in the recently held by-elections in the state, six MLAs from the Telangana region, will take oath tomorrow while YSR party candidate will take oath on March 29, the last day of budget
session. The newly-elected four TRS MLAs – Jupally Krishna Rao(Kollahpur), Jogu Ramanna (Adilabad), T Rajaiah (Station Ghanpur)and Gampa Goverdhan (Kamareddy) and BJP MLA from Mahbubnagar Y Srinivas Reddy and independent MLA from Nagarkurnool Nagam Janardhan Reddy would pay tributes at the Telangana Martyr’s Memorial at Gun Park before taking oath in the State Legislative Assembly.
The entry of six new MLAs, who were elected primarily due to Telangana sentiments in the by-elections, are all set to raise the demand for Telangana resolution, especially in view of suicide by MBA student Bhojya Naik in Warangal.
Speaker Nadendla Manohar is likely to administer the oath of secrecy to the newly elected MLAs.
However, YSR Congress party MLA from Kovvur seat N Prasanna Kumar Reddy will take the oath on March 29.
It may be mentioned that he would be the second MLA, after Vijayamma, to enter the assembly as YSR Congress representative.
