Hyderabad, November 6: In an incident which created flutter at Malakpet last night an unknown woman kidnapped a 10 hours old newborn baby. Tension prevailed in the area when the relatives of the newborn staged protest against the negligence of hospital administration. It is said that Mohammad Feroz Qureshi resident of Aman Nagar brought his wife to the hospital. The doctors admitted the wife and at almost 1 o’clock in the afternoon Mahboob Bi gave birth to a baby boy. Till she could regain consciousness her baby had been kidnapped.
It is said that an unidentified burqa clad woman reached near Mahboob Bi’s bed and told that she had arrived at the hospital along with her father in law who is not well saying this she took the bag of another woman close to her and put the newborn in the bag and fled.
On receipt of the information MBT leader and corporator Amjadullah Khan Khalid reached Malakpet area hospital and protested against the incident. He said that due to carelessness of the security and apathy of hospital administration these incidents are happening.
