New Year revelry:Traffic Crubs around Lake

Hyderabad, December 30:Hyderabad City Police Commissioner A. K. Khan, has notified for information of the general public, that in order to facilitate proper control and regulation of traffic in view of the New Year celebrations on vehicular traffic on the intervening night December 31, 2011 and January 1, 2012, the following traffic restrictions are imposed around the Hussain Sagar lake.
In a notification here today, the City Police Commissioner stated that vehicular traffic will not be allowed on the NTR Marg, Necklace Road and Upper Tankbund from 10 pm to 2 am on Saturday night. He stated that vehicular traffic coming from the V.V. statue towards Necklace Road and NTR Marg will be diverted at the V.V. statue towards Khairatabad and Rajbhavan Road. Vehicular traffic coming from BRK Bhavan towards NTR Marg will be diverted towards Iqbal Minar, Lakadikapul, Ayodhya.

Similarly, vehicular traffic coming from Liberty Junction towards Secunderabad will be diverted at the MCH Office Y Jn, towards BRK Bhavan, Telugu Talli, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Lakdikapul and Ayodhya. Vehicular traffic coming from Khairatabad Market to go towards Necklace Rotary will be diverted at Khairatabad towards Meera Talkies lane. The Mint compound lane adjacent to Secretariat will be closed for general vehicular traffic.
Vehicular traffic coming from Nallagutta Railway Bridge will not be allowed towards Sanjeevaiah Park and Necklace Road and will be diverted towards Karbala Maidan or Ministers Road.
Vehicular traffic coming from Secunderabad will be diverted at the Sailing Club towards Kavadiguda crossroad, Lower Tankbund, Kattamaisamma Temple, left turn and Ashok Nagar, RTC crossroads.
