The Chief Minister and Ministers may repeatedly make loud declarations and tall promises in regard to matters like action against bogus educational institutions and irregularities being committed by corporate educational institutions, driving away drought and supply of water for drinking and irrigation purposes, dealing with corruption, improved medical facilities in Government hospitals and action against corporate Hospitals which are indulging in malpractices and exploiting the rural poor, maintaining law and order and putting an end to evil practices like ragging, attacks on women and taking stringent action against terrorists in the State. But, astrological predictions show that the Government has to face many challenges in fulfilling these promises and it will not succeed in some of these matters.
World’s top Astrologer and Aasthana Siddhanti of Sri Kalahasteeswara Swamy Devasthanam, Pandit Mulugu Ramalingeswara Vara Prasad, whose predictions had come true in the previous years, including formation of Separate Telangana State, TRS making it to power in the State, BJP’s victory in the last General elections, rout of the Congress party, Nitish Kumar again becoming Chief Minister last year, says in his almanac for the New Year Durmukhi Nama Samvatsaram, that farmers’ suicides will not stop in Telangana State and the Governments (of both TS and AP) will not be able to stop the suicides, there will be crisis in agriculture sector in both the States and the two States will face water scarcity, Gun culture will be on increase in Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad), Dengue fever will spread in both the Telugu states and the Governments will be in a helpless state (to deal with it), and the Governments will not be able to stop cases of infant mortality in Government Hospitals, ragging will not stop in spite of many measures being taken by the Government, corporate Hospitals will continue to fleece the patients to the hilt, Education will become a commercial commodity and it will become beyond the reach of common people and corruption will continue and there will be full scale corruption in Registration offices, and one official of the Excise department will be caught with 60 KG of Gold, even Bill Collectors will become Crorepatis, and incidents of kidnaps, attacks on women will be on increase, and Pahadi Sherif in Hyderabad will become adda for Terrorist groups.
Some other predications made by the Siddhanthi are: There will be increase in criminal activities of minors, increase in cyber crimes, increase in cases of divorce, Two ministers each in TS and AP will face ouster, and the village adoption scheme will become a publicity stunt.

The Siddhanthi asserts that Special category status will not be accorded to Andhra Pradesh, but huge funds will be given by the Centre under different heads for development of the State.
He predicts that AIADMK will become victorious in Tamil Nadu in the present elections, while Trinamool Congress will be victorious in West Bengal. In the coming State Assembly elections, the BJP will face bitter experience in almost all the States. He says that there will be increase in air accidents this year in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and UAE. There will be deterioration in the relations between India and Pakistan. There will be earth quake, natural calamities in the USA, Naina Sehwal, Sania Mirza and P V Sindhu will forge ahead during the year. Earth quakes will hit Nepal, China and Himalayan range. (NSS)
