Telangana government has decided to issue new ration cards soon. According to Civil Supplies Department ration cards will be issued in Telangana after the month of August. Government is also planning to cancel bogus ration cards. Telangana government may issue new ration cards in the month September or October. Notification has been issued by the government to issue new ration cards.
On the other side Telangana government has intensified its efforts to link Public Distribution System with Adhar number. Officials say that 70 percent seeding has been completed to link PDS to Adhar card.
After issuing new ration cards government will enforce food security scheme.
