New political party launched

Hyderabad, July 12: Announcing the dawn of a new forum for the citizens on the political horizon, Mr Abdul Jabbar Siddiqui promised a clean and responsive political party.

Addressing the gathering at the launch of the ‘Citizens for Welfare and Justice Party’ with himself as its Convenor, Mr Abdul Jabbar said that his party would strive to provide a responsive and able administration. He said that the main aims of his party were welfare of the people, people’s service and development in all sectors.

The party was formally launched in a well attended function at the Lalita Kala Thoranam on Sunday evening.

Mr Abdul Jabbar said that the CWJ will fight for the welfare of the people and one of its aims would be to root out corruption in public life. He said that the party will only allow people who have no criminal antecedents into its fold.

He assured the gathering that the party will always stand up for the rights for the weaker section and build a good name for itself by the work it does. The CWJ Convenor further promised that one of the aims of the party would be to change the image that the general public has of politicians as being corrupt and incompetent. He said that his party would strive to build the image of politicians as honest and able.

Mr Abdul Jabbar also informed that the party will participate in future elections.

MLC Nageshwar Reddy, POW president Sandhya and MPJ president Hamid Mohammed Khan were present at the launch of the new party.
