Hyderabad, May 25: (Siasat News) The U.S consular sections will introduce a new two tier fee structure for non-immigrant visas from June 04, this will lead to hike application fee.
All applications for B1,B2, C1,D,F,M and J categories will now carry 140 fee, and after the payment of this a white receipt will be issued.
Work visa categories H,L,O,P,Q and R will now cost U.S $150 and for this a green receipt will be issued. Here after visa will attract U.S $390 and this amount will have to be paid at the consulate general.
Earlier, for non-immigrant visa application used to have uniform fee structure and the prescribed fee was U.S $ 131. According to American consulate office at Hyderabad, the strength of America consulate offices in India had additional staff,as their staff was increased by 40 percent. America has spent 100 million dollar on them.
