Hyderabad, April 07: The Moulana Azad Nat ional Urdu University (MANUU) has started three new courses at the post-graduate level and two new research programmes, namely MCA, MSc(Maths) and MCom besides MPhil and PhD in Persian and business management.
Three new certificate courses in Amoozish Urdu, proficiency in Persian and Unani pharmacy have also been introduced.
According to a press release, the admission process for regular courses commenced from May 9. The courses include MA in Urdu, Persian, Arabic, English, Hindi, public administration, women education, social exclusion and inclusive policy and business management, PhD in Urdu, Persian, Hindi, English, women’s studies, public administration, education, social exclusion and inclusive policy studies and business management, polytechnic programmes in civil engineering, computer science, information technology.
Admissions in MEd, BEd, DEd, MCJ, MCA, MCom, MBA, MA in translation studies, MPhil, PhD and polytechnic courses will be on the basis of entrance examinations and in all other courses will be on merit basis. Application forms (except for PhD) should be submitted by May 30 at the university headquarters in Hyderabad. The last date for submitting applications for PhD programmes is July 4. Meanwhile, the varsity is organizing a lecture on Tagore- A person without boundaries on May 9 on the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary.
