Commissioner, Department of School Education, T Chiranjeevulu said on Thursday that additional 15 minutes will be given for the regular students who were appearing for SSC examinations beginning from March 25.
He informed that “regular students would be taking new pattern of question paper from this year”, for this we have enhanced 30 minutes for second language paper and 15 minutes for other papers.
The additional time given is to understand the new pattern of question paper, he added. The examinations will be held from 9.30 am to 12.15 pm (second language- 9.30 am to 12.45 pm) for regular students and for private students, it is from 9.30 am to 12 pm.
According to Sheshu Kumari, Director of Government Examinations, the new pattern (formative assessment and theory examinations) would applicable to only for the regular students. She said once failed students should take the old pattern of examination only.
