New MD of MFC to take charge after Friday prayers

Mr. M A Waheed, deputy conservator of forests will take charge as vice chairman and managing director Andhra Pradesh Minority Finance Corporation after Friday prayers. He told Siasat correspondent that government by assigning him a key responsibility has expressed complete faith in him. He told that the recent incidents have tarnished the image of the Minority Finance Corporation and to restore the tarnished image of the corporation will be his top priority.

Born in a house of a govt. teacher of Mahboob Nagar, Mr. Mohammed Abdul Waheed studied primary education through Urdu medium. He was selected for Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission group I exams in 1975 and was appointed as forest range office. He takes the present post assigned to him as a challenge. He wants Muslim youth to avail govt.’s welfare scheme and strengthen the financial position of their family.
