Hyderabad: New market building will be constructed at Mahboob Chowk under Charminar Pedestrian Project for this Rs. 36 Cr has been sanctioned. Besides 50 new toilets will be constructed for public convenience. Cleaning and repair of arches from Pathargatti to Madina Building will be undertaken. The standing committee of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has sanctioned new 2-storied building in place of the present building of Mahboob Chowk market and Rs. 36 Cr has been sanctioned for this. Rs. 5.97 Cr will be spent on repair and cleaning of arches from Pathargatti to Madina Building.
GHMC has also decided to widen the road near Malakpet Railway station to ease traffic flow.
