New iPhone app creates daily timeline based on photos found on device

A new app for iPhone creates a daily timeline of pictures that are found on the device, similar to many apps that prepare digital scrapbooks and journals for storing special memories.

The HeyDay app, not only creates a daily timeline based on photos found on the device that are added to a timeline, but also logs venues using the phone’s GPS system and allows users to add personal notes and tag people to the photos.

Chief Executive of HeyDay, Siqi Chen said that the idea is to know exactly what one did on every single day of their life adding that they want to be the ultimate artefact that puts the entirety of people’s life in their hands, News24 reports.

According to the report, the app also gives notifications when people return to a city they have already visited and prompts them to look at photos from their past trips to revive memories.

The app runs in the background and uses up the battery faster than usual, but Chen said that the company is trying to reduce the battery drain. (ANI)
