(Siasat News) Govt. of A.P. had released Rs. 3 crore for the construction of a Haj House near Shamshabad Airport with a condition to identify land.
In Karnataka where BJP is in power, it sanctioned Rs. 51 crore for the construction of Haj House in Bangaluru.
Mr. Zameer Pasha, IAS Secretary of Minorities Affairs, Govt. of Karnataka told that tenders have been invited and the construction work will start soon.
Govt. of A.P. should also take immediate steps for the construction of Haj House, otherwise Rs. 3 crore has to be deposited back into the Govt. treasury as an unspent balance amount. It is said that the construction of Haj House has become a political issue and hence Govt. is not in a position to take any decision.
