Vishakapatnam, March 02: DK Sood today took over as the General Manager (Incharge) of NTPC’s Simhadri super thermal power plant situated near here.
Sood, who had earlier worked as the general manager of NTPC’s Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Project (RGCCPP) at Kayamkulam in Kerala, took over from his predecessor who was transferred as general manager of NTPC’s Talcher super thermal power station in Orissa.
An electrical engineer and postgraduate in science with specialisation in power systems, Sood has vast experience in handling major power plants of NTPC across the country. He also served with BHEL for some time.
