Mr. Satyanarayana took over yesterday as the new DCP of South Zone City Police. Earlier, he was working as DCP of South Zone. Soon after taking charge as DCP, Mr. Satyanarayana convened a meeting of police officials and instructed them to be alert on the occasion of Moharam. He warned that any attempt to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city would be dealt with seriously.
