A meeting of the Directors of Deeni Madrasas was held at Urdu Ghar Moghalpura and a detailed discussion was held on the new terms and condition of Sarwa Shiksha Abhyan imposed on Deeni Madrasas. The participants felt that these conditions are not acceptable and they are contrary to the rights of the School. The officials of SSA were to implement these conditions under the pretext of Right To Education Act. which is contrary to its sprits.
Mufti Naseem Ahmed Ashrafi told that SSA announced to pay a meager amount of salary to the teachers of Deeni Madrasas under the pretext of modernization of Deeni Madrasas. More than 700 Madrasas got benefit of this scheme but for the past few months their salaries have been stopped and they have put a condition that SSA officials themselves would appoint B.Ed trained teachers, otherwise no salary will be given to the teachers. It is a deviation from the Govt. policies.
Maulana Abdul Raoof Meenayi told that due to imposing the condition of appointment of B.Ed trained teachers, the old teachers working in these schools for past so many years would lose their jobs. Mufti Mohammed Hasanuddin told that they should discontinue their affiliation with SSA. Maulana Syed Firasath Ali told that deeni madrasas appointment teachers who are role models of character for the students but the new teachers can’t fulfill these aspirations. The participants of the meeting unanimously passed a resolution rejecting the new conditions imposed by SSA.
