The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) Deccan Chapter formed their new committee for the year 2014-15 today. ISHRAE is a society of Air-conditioning Engineers, Builders, Architects, and other respected clients, and having approximately 700 members in Hyderabad and total membership strength of 10000 members in India. The new committee is spearheaded by Anurag Nagar as President, Sandeep Galhotra as Secretary and P.A. Prabhu of Revac Systems as Treasurer.
Anurag Nagar is the Managing Director of Apple Mechanicals Pvt. Ltd. Earlier he was a branch manager with Voltas India. Sandeep Galhotra is Managing Director of Radiant Ducts Pvt. Ltd. and P.A. Prabhu is Partner in Revac Systems.
SHRAE is dedicated to develop the skills of Air conditioning engineers, promote awareness about the global warming, introduction of new technology in India etc. Shedding light on the plans of the new committee for the year ahead, Anurag informed that they would focus on the professional development of grass root mechanics and would like to train them professionally along with soft skills. Keeping in view of this, we are soon introducing ISHRAE Certified Mechanic course. The training programme being introduced this year in the state will be conducted by ISHRAE Institute of Excellence, training wing of ISHRAE.
At an event organized at Hotel Green Park today, the outgoing President N.S. Chandrashekhar delivered his speech about the last year’s programs. Dr. Sarvanan, Regional Director and Chief Guest thanked all the members for their cooperation on this occasion. (NSS)
