It’s a good news for the commuters from King Koti to Barkas. The representation made by Asafia King Koti Welfare Association of 1st January met with success. APSRTC has agreed to start bus route 40 from Koti to Barkas. Mr. Qaleel bin Farwaan and others made a representation to APSRTC Executive Director, Mr. A. Koteshwar for starting a new bus service. TDP leader, Mr. K. Vijay Rama Rao had also invited the attention of RTC authorities. It has yielded positive result. A new bus service has been introduced from King Koti to Barkas. The bus will start from King Koti and it will reach Barkas via King Koti Hospital, Taj Mahal Hotel, Abdis, MJ Market, Afzal Gunj, Charminar, Chandrayan Gutta and Barkas Badi Masjid. This bus will start from King Koti at 8:30 a.m. and will reach Barkas at 9:10 a.m. It will start from Barkas at 9:20 a.m. and will reach King Koti at 10:10 a.m. In the same manner it will again start at 3:30 p.m. from King Koti and will reach Barkas at 4:10 p.m. It will come back to King Koti at 5:10 p.m.
