Hyderabad, April 13: Two unknown burqa clad women stole a new born baby girl from a city hospital here.
According to police, two unidentified burqa clad women came to Imtiyaz Hospital yesterday and started conversing with the mother of a six-day-old baby girl and her attendant. After sometime, the lady attendant went down to settle the hospital bills for discharging the baby and the mother. Meanwhile, one of the women asked the baby’s mother to bring the infant to cash counter for a test.
Believing her, the mother handed over the baby to the woman.
Immediately, the said ladies sped away with the baby.
Search was on to trace the culprits, police said.
