New Delhi, October 16: Indiscriminate weaponisation of Pakistan’s civil society has eroded the very basis of a modern state premised upon a monopoly of violence, says a book titled ‘The Paradox of Pakistan: Collapse or Caliphate’ released here today.
Authored by Maj Gen (Retd) G D Bakshi, the book’s launch was attended by eminent personalities from different walks of life including former diplomat G D Parthasarthy and former IB Chief A K Doval who applauded the book.
“This book is full of information on Pakistan’s nuclear programme and is a must for anyone interested in the subject and related matters”, said Parthasarthy.
The book provides an in-depth insight into the situation in Pakistan and is divided into various sections like- Pakistan’s Nuclear and Conventional Doctrines, Force Modernisation, Counter operations in FATA and NWFP etc, he said.
