The Role
Charterhouse is working with an Abu Dhabi Government entity looking to hire an IT Network Engineer (UAE National).
Your main purpose is to be responsible for supporting pre sales and implementation activities under Baseband (IP). You will support pre sales and post sales teams for various customer opportunities / projects whilst successfully managing the day-to-day IP Core operations and maintenance for in-house network infrastructure. You will have an understanding of Microsoft technologies and VMWARE / Citrix virtualisation. You will also manage assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives whilst maintaining a thorough understanding of the basics behind the internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, HTTP, VPN, Email Routing).
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree as well as 2 – 5 years pre sales and network implementation experience together with Cisco / Microsoft experience. You should have excellent communication, time management and problem solving skills.
