Netherlands Co likely to set up IT unit in city

Hyderabad, January 12: A team of Royal DSM Company from Netherlands is exploring the possibilities of opening their back office and it support centre in the city.
The team met the IT Minister Ponnala Lakshmiah at his chambers in the Secretariat on Wednesday and discussed the modalities and methods in this regard.

Informing this to media persons, Mr Lakshmaiah disclosed that the company which has a turnover of US $ 10 billion has 22,000 employees on its pay rolls with a manufacturing unit already set up in Pune near Mumbai.

The proposal to set up an IT Support Services centre will be first of its kind outside Netherlands. While giving a presentation on it to the visiting team, the government informed them the benefits of setting up their operations here in terms of state of the art IT infrastructure, and orbital and radial road networks.

Extending full support to their unit here, the Netherlands team headed by CFO and Member of the Board of DSM Group Schwalb, was invited to make full use of the infrastructure here.
