Kathmandu : Amid fresh political developments of toppling Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli-led government, Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba on Wednesday held a meeting with the leaders of Madhesi-based political parties.
Deuba held a meeting with the chiefs of Tarai Madhes Democratic Party, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal and Sadbhawana Party, Mahantha Thakur, Upendra Yadav and Rajendra Mahato respectively, among others, at the Parliament building, reports the Himalayan Times.
His meetings with the Madhesi leaders is considered to be a significant amid fresh developments that the Unified Communist Party of Nepal -Maoist(UCPN-M) has called all parties to extend support in forming the government under its leadership reportedly after the Nepali Congress assured it of the same.
