Nepal President leaves for Bhubaneswar

Rajkot: Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari today left for Odisha capital Bhubaneswar after her visit to Gujarat.

On a five-day visit to India, Bhandari had arrived here yesterday along with a Nepalese delegation and was given a warm welcome by Minister of State for Home Pradipsinh Jadeja and District Collector Vikrant Pandey.

She subsequently went to the Somnath temple and the Dwarkadheesh temple to offer prayers and returned to Rajkot late in the evening.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had hosted a dinner in her honour with prominent city residents joining it.

“Nepal President today visited Rajkot Dairy and also met the dairy’s board of directors,” said an official release.

Bhandari subsequently left for Bhubaneswar along with the delegation, it added.
