Nepal PM confident of agitating parties participation in local polls

Kathmandu: Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed his confidence over the participation of agitating parties in local polls slated for May 14 this year.

He was also confident about the successful commencement of local polls with the participation of disgruntled parties.

Dahal layed off his plan in front of Media representatives that he will speed up talks with the UDMF to garner the favorable environment for holding polls.

“With the UDMF I have tried to hold talks and reach agreement before departing for China but failed at the last moment. I have instructed the taskforce formed earlier to complete the documents before my arrival from the visit and will conclude the talks after arriving back. I have the confidence that they will also participate in the local polls,” Dahal said in a press conference.

Dahal, who arrived after a weeklong visit to China, claimed that the northern neighbor has also shown its support and wished the participation of all parties in slated poll. (ANI)
