The Nepal Government has offered several incentives to the entrepreneurs of Telangana who invests in Nepal.
Addressing a press conference here, Charge d Affaires of Embassy of Nepal Krishna Prasad Dhakal said that all investments in Nepal were safe and would provide good returns. He said that the Nepal has a stable government and all investments done in Export Processing Zone and Special Econcomic Zone were tax free from taxes. He said Nepal has the world’s second largest power plant of 83,000 MW.
Dhakal said that the investors would explore investment opportunities in services, infrastructure, health, education and other sectors. He said almost 90 per cent people of Nepal are associated with agriculture, which constitutes about 35% of country’s GDP. He said an agreement has already been signed for Delhi-Khatmandu Bus Service and efforts were also on to sign Sister City Agreement between Hyderabad and Khatmandu.
Nepal’s Minister for Economy Dhndi Raj Pokharel and FICCI official and Bhagyanagar India Ltd Managing Director Devendra Surana were also present. (INN)
