Kathmandu, Oct. 16 : Nepal Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa expects improvement in his nation’s bilateral relations with India and was hopeful about both governments arriving at a solution to end the ongoing disruption in supply of essential goods during his three day official visit to India.
Thapa is arriving in New Delhi on Saturday on the invitation of India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
Addressing media here, Thapa admitted to there being some bitterness in bilateral ties, but described it as a temporary aberration, The Himalayan Times reported.
Thapa would be assisted in the delegation-level meetings by Nepal’s Ambassador to India Deep Kumar Upadhyay and senior home, commerce and supplies and foreign affairs. (ANI)
