Mumbai, July 22: After Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan sizzles in Delhi Couture Week, now it is actress Neha Dhupia’s turn to grace the event. She will be present today in the fashion event to cheer for the designer Gaurav Gupta.
The actress is fond of Gaurav for his “out of the box” thinking when tailoring the clothes. She is at loss of words after seeing his show and said that she knew about his genius at pret collections, but here she’s also discovered that he is equally superb with his couture collection. According to Neha he does not only understands her style but also understands her personality while designing suitable clothes for her.
His latest collection was inspired by fairies and mythical creatures adorned by the music and decor evoking an underwater ambience. Gupta excitedly shares that this is his first Couture show in India and he is having lot of fun putting together the collections in which he has tried to show fairy-like creatures in a lost forest underwater.
So as to make everything richer he’s also used Swarovski embellishments and embroidery. He has used range of colour as he believes that couture collections don’t go by definitions.
