Mumbai, September 14: Neha Dhupia, who featured in the three-part series Bollywood Heroes, is on a high. Barely a month after the show ended, she is still receiving praise for it. The show aired in the US, and it even got a mention in the New York Times.
The former Miss India agrees that the TV series got her more global exposure than her films. She has also been receiving calls from Hollywood agents who want to represent her. Neha confirms the development, “When I was shooting for the show I had got calls from agents who handle the really big and successful names of Hollywood. I will finalise an agent, when I go to Los Angeles next.”
Adds Neha, “It was a really fantastic experience for me to be a part of this show. The show premiered on August 7 and I was in New York for its premiere at Times Square and then flew out to LA for the last two days of the show. The critics there have really appreciated my work and that is a great high for any performer. New York Times had a brilliant review of the show as well. I am very excited to have done this.”
Second season
The popularity of the mini series has compelled the producers to think about doing a second season. Neha confirms. “The producers of the show are currently contemplating a second season of the show.”
