New Delhi, January 16: For any actor, working in a multi starrer is akin to a double edged sword. While it is always a safer sojourn to be a part of a film where there are a dozen odd other actors sharing responsibility for making it work, there is also as much effort required to make your presence felt. And that doesn’t necessarily mean only hogging the limelight after the release of the film but also during the entire shooting duration, post production, editing table, promotion and then the eventual release. For some, competition (at least from quantitative standpoint) may mean more motivation to better one act but for most it’s a sense of ‘insecurity’ that turns out to be an absolute killer.
This is why one wonders that when other designated leading men like Riteish Deshmukh and Sudeep (seen earlier in Varma’s PHOONK) are clearly playing second fiddle to Amitabh Bachchan, where does that leave a leading lady like Neetu Chandra?
