Secondary Education Minister K Parthasarathi on Wednesday made it clear that the students have no other option than to prepare for NEET for admissions into engineering courses.
Speaking as the chief guest at Apprenticeship Awareness meeting held in Vanitha Maha Vidyalaya, Parthasarathi said that the problems about in NEET would be sorted out by the next year. The State government would soon take a decision on re-examination of Physics paper of Intermediate as directed by the court.
The government has decided to conduct admissions into the Centrally-aided institutions like NIT, IIIT, IIT and engineering colleges through common entrance test, he added. (NSS)
