Mumbai, November 26: (Siasat News) All the systems of Governance in the entire world are in direct conflict with the system of Islamic governance system of the caliphate. There is no caliphate in any part of the world these days whereas Allah (SWT) has sent man nominating him as his vicegerent. Imam of Kaaba Dr. Saud Bin Ibrahim Ashareem expressed these thoughts while addressing a press conference in Mumbai yesterday. He told that due to the ignorance generation is falling prey to democratic values. He further told that there is a need to make them aware of Islamic teachings in order to change their life style because the democratic system has made the minds of the youngsters free younger due to which they are neglecting Islamic Civilization and adopting waywardness. He stressed the need to strengthen to relations between India and Saudi Arabia as their contacts are age-old.
Expressing his liking for India, he said that he would like to visit this country again and again for preaching Islam. Replying to the question put to him about justice, he said that the system of dispensation of justice in Islam has been derived from two sources. One is the Quran and the other is hadith. If an analysis of Islamic System is made, it will reveal that some of the systems of justice prevalent in the world are like that of Islam but in many cases they deviate from Islamic principles. The concept of justice which Islam has given is not present in any system. Dr. Saud said that Islam has its own constitution, which the Prophet (SAWS) of Islam himself has framed. We must lead our lives as per the sayings of the Prophet (SAWS). Replying to the question asked about Islamic terrorism, he said that the religion which has taught peace and played a pivotal role in eliminating ignorance cannot be blamed for promoting terrorism. He told that it is not permitted to kill women, children and the elderly person of the enemies, even cutting the trees of the enemies is not allowed.
When Islam imparts such teachings, to link it with terrorism is cruel. Reviewing the activities of some of the persons involved in terrorist activities, the Imam told that such acts are their own and bear no relevance with Islam.
Dr. Saud told that Islam is the only Universal religion which provided equal rights to women. Such rights are not available in any religion. He told that men and women are created by Allah (SWT) and assigned their tasks inside and outside the house. Islam has put an end to all the evils based on ignorance despite this, it is deplorable that Muslim Ummah is involved in the traditions of pre-Islamic Jahiliya period.
Referring to the judicial system of Islam, he said that Islam has its own system of punishing for rape, murder etc., which prevents crimes. Such Islamic laws are opposed by other laws of the world which is not true.
Present on this occasion was Dr. Zakir Naik, the renowned Islamic scholar of Mumbai. Dr. Saud met individually all the press reporters present in the press conference.
