Need to learn from other State for 12% reservation for Muslims

Hyderabad: Siasat Urdu Daily has launched a massive campaign for providing 12% reservation for Muslims under the stewardship of Mr. Amer Ali Khan, News Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily. This campaign has spread throughout Telangana and it is also reaching the rural areas. Muslims are coming forward to put forth their demand for providing 12% reservation.

For the first time in the history of Sirpur Town, a large gathering assembled for one day hunger strike organized from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 2nd May opposite the office of Tehsildar. Mr. Mohammed Aashiq Husain, President Muslim Minority Mandal of Sirpur Town organized the hunger strike campaign. Local leaders also expressed their solidarity. Mr. Aashiq Husain told that Mr. KCR had made a promise in an election meeting held at Shaad Nagar for providing 12% reservation for Muslims within 4 months of TRS assuming charge. Although, two years of TRS rule is nearing completely, Muslims are still waiting for 12% reservation.

The Muslims of Sirpur Town demanded that they don’t want free clothes in Ramazan but they want Mr. KCR to fulfill his promise by constituting BCs Commission otherwise, he should be ready to face the wrath of the Muslims. The Muslims of Sirpur Town submitted a memorandum to Mr. Ramesh Babu, Tehsildar of Sirpur Town in which a demand was made to the Govt. for providing 12% reservation to Muslims by constituting BCs Commission.
