Need to interrogate false information providers of blast

Whenever there is a terrorist attack, police becomes alert and starts investigations. These investigations are directed towards a particular community. Police neglects those who spread rumours. Police started investigations in connection with the bomb blast case of Dilsukhnagar.

It is trying to target a specific community. If the terrorist activities of the past two months are reviewed, it will be known that police had arrested two persons who had passed on telephonic information about implanting bombs in Secretariat, Assembly, Charminar and Birla Mandir. Police had to face a lot of difficulties in conducting search activities.

Can’t police take any stern action against the persons who furnished such false information? Will the police call them to police station to record their statement?

Last month, police had arrested one Sri Naveen Kumar (36) resident of Chegunta (Medak) but it was treated as an ordinary incident saying that the man was drunk. He used to do this to harass the police.

Police arrested him on 4th February. Police should interrogate him. Did he use to telephone the police only to mislead?

In the same way, police arrested a young man by name G. Raju (18) resident of East Godavari. He has furnished false information of implanting bombs in Charminar and other areas. Police should interrogate both these individual and record their statements also since they had started worrying the police only a few days back. During this month two bomb blasts occurred in which 17 persons died and 119 got injuries.
