CPI State secretary Dr K Narayana has said that intensifying the movement was the only alternative to achieve separate Telangana State.
A group of CPI leaders, led by Dr Narayana called on the Prime Minister on Thursday.
Speaking to the media later, Dr Narayana said the Prime Minister told him that there was no consensus on Telangana issue and the Centre was examining the issue patiently.
Narayana said the Prime Minister’s attitude was not hopeful towards creation of separate Telangana State. Therefore, intensifying movement was the only alternative for achieving separate Telangana State. (NSS)
