Need to engage youngsters in educational development and research activities: Syed Jaleel Ahmed

Hyderabad: Tameer-e-Millat played a key role to unite Muslim community rising above sectarian differences and it is hoped that in future, it will continue its efforts. Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani told this while addressing the 67th foundation day of Tameer-e-Millat held on 15th June. Continuing his speech he said that the services of this scheme are laudable. He congratulated the members of the organization and paid rich tributes to its founder, Mr. Syed Khalilullah Husaini.

Mr. Syed Jaleel Ahmed Advocate, President of Tameer-e-Millat presided over the function. In his presidential address, he told that the organization will not deviate from its objectives. It will play its role for the eradication of educational backwardness of Muslim community. At present, there is lack of research trends among the Muslims. The need of the hour is to engage Muslim youths in educational development and research activities. He further said that we can face the present situation only through education and research.

Mr. Ziauddin Naiyar, in his key note address paid a tribute to Mr. Syed Khalilullah Husaini and narrated the circumstances in which this organization was formed. He lamented that the Islamic scholars do not mention in their speeches about the battles Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) fought. He also said that the Muslim youths are ruining themselves by forgetting “Jihad”.

Present on this occasion were Mr. Omer Shafeeq Ahmed, General Secretary of the organization, Mr. Khaja Mohammed Asif Ahmed and others. At the beginning of the session, Mr. Mohammed Asif Mohammed presented welcome address.
