Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof. Kodandaram today stressed the need for recording all incidents and events, including the historic “Sakala Janula Samme” during the separate Telangana Movement so that posterity would be able to know about the struggle for de-merger of Telangana from united Andhra Pradesh.
Prof. Kodandaram was speaking at the release of “Telangana Udyama Diary” penned by Pittala Ravindar in the Somajiguda Press Club here on Saturday. The diary was unveiled by Telangana Press Academy chairman Allam Narayana, Prof. Kodandaram, Telangana State Public Service Commission chairman Ghanta Chakrapani, member Vittal.
Prof. Kodandaram said the people of Telangana created history by struggling for six decades for de-merger of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. Ghanta Chakrapani said, “We got an opportunity to write our own history. The diary contains all incidents and events during the separate State struggle. Ravinder also explained in detail about the key role played by the employees in the movement,” he added. (NSS)
